TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade - What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.

The Software

Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
